For the adventurous, Mount Warning is located near Murwillumbah and offers a fantastic mountain walk. Mount Warning is an 8.8km walk to the summit and back. This usually takes between 4-5 hours depending on how fit you are. But beware, the last 400 metres are up a steep rock climb that you have to hold on to chains to pull yourself up. The views are most certainly worth the pain.
